GrÜnbeck BOXER RDX - 1

GrÜnbeck BOXER RDX - 1

GrÜnbeck BOXER RDX - 1

Product details

BOXER RDX backwash filters are designed for filtration of drinking water. The BOXER RDX backwash filter with pressure reducer is additionally suitable for adjusting the downstream pressure on the extraction side. The filters can be used in the pressure/vacuum range. The adjustment of the downstream pressure on the extraction side works only when used in the pressure range. The BOXER RDX backwash filters are designed according to the specifications of DIN EN 13443-1 and DIN 19628 and are intended for installation in drinking water systems according to DIN EN 806-2 (installation directly downstream of the water meter system).
They protect the water pipes and the water-carrying system parts connected to them against malfunctions and corrosion damage caused by undissolved impurities (particles), such as rust particles, sand, etc... The unfiltered drinking water flows through the inlet side into the filter and then passes from the outside inwards through the filter element to the clean water outlet. Foreign particles with a size of > 100 μm are retained in the process.
Depending on their size and weight, foreign particles stick to the filter element or fall directly down into the filter bell.
Turning the backwash handwheel as far as it will go opens the channel and triggers backwashing. The water flows through the pre-sieve to the filter element and passes through this in the reverse direction to normal filtration. The particles adhering to the filter element are loosened and flushed out to the channel.
We recommend backwashing every two months. For BOXER RDX backwash filters with pressure reducer, the downstream pressure on the extraction side can additionally be set to 1 - 6 bar (factory setting 4 bar) using the flow-optimized pressure reducer designed in accordance with DIN EN 1567.

  • Connection flange incl. water meter screw connections made of dezincification-resistant brass with seals and stainless steel screws.
  • Filter element made of stainless steel mesh.
  • Maintenance ring for setting the next maintenance date (backwash).
  • Ergonomic handwheel for easier backwash triggering.
  • Transparent blue filter bell can be screwed by hand.
  • Duct connection DN 50 according to DIN EN 1717 for connection to the duct drain with integrated outlet.
  • The BOXER RDX has a pressure reducer with pressure gauge integrated in the filter head for setting and displaying the downstream pressure on the outlet side.
  • All parts in contact with water comply with drinking water regulations. Test specifications: KTW, DVGW W 270, DIN 50930-6.
